Flavours of fall – outdo granny’s baking! All your favourite fall spices in one little tin.
Apple pies will taste amazing, your oatmeal will be enhanced, and a sprinkle on a roast ham will be divine. A blend of all your favourite fall spices to give that unforgettable aroma and flavour that brings back memories of winter’s past.
This spice is so good it should be enjoyed year-round. Try some of the ideas below to keep the best season of the year in your heart ALL YEAR LONG.
Suggested Uses
Cinnamon Replacement. Recipes often call for cinnamon. Raise the bar and grab this blend instead.
Oatmeal. Add a new dimension to your oatmeal by sprinkling it with All Year Long Apple Pie Spice.
Spiced Nuts.
Make a simple meringue with the recipe below.
Whisk ingredients together until soft peaks are formed.
Fold in 1lb of your favourite mixed nuts and roast in a moderate oven on a sheet of parchment for 15 mins or until lightly golden.
Cool slightly, then separate the nuts and place back in the oven for a further 5 mins. The nuts should feel dry not sticky.
Store in an airtight container.
Spiced Vanilla Panna Cotta with poached apple compote & walnut praline.
Place the cream, milk, spice & vanilla, in a saucepan & bring to a boil.
Whisk the yolks & sugar together in a bowl. Pour the cream mixture onto the eggs and returned to the saucepan.
Bring back to a gentle simmer, then strain back into the bowl.
soak the gelatine in a little cold water, when soft and pliable drain and add to mix.
Pour into 6, 8oz ramekins. Place in the refrigerator to set.
Poached Apple Compote
Place apple juice, sugar & spice in a saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Turn down the heat & add the apples. Cook until tender, cover & allow to cool.
Walnut Praline
In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, place the sugar & a splash of water, enough to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a boil and cook until the sugar turns a rich golden brown. Add the walnuts and pour the mixture onto a greased sheet of parchment paper, and allow to cool.
Once cooled, the mixture will be hard and brittle. Place in a food processor and pulse until it is an even, but coarse texture.
Place in an airtight container. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
To Plate, run a knife around the edge of the ramekin and turn out the panna cotta, garnish with the compote and sprinkle over the praline.
Mulled wine. Add a teaspoon to your favourite mulled wine recipe and
Rice Krispie Treats. Add a little to your Rice Krispie Treats and you instantly have a fall dessert the kids will love.
Smoothies. I like to make a vanilla protein smoothie with a drop of vanilla and a little Apple Pie Spice.
Whipped Cream. Add a sprinkle to freshly whipped cream, and top off your favourite fall pie.
Popcorn. Sprinkle a little on freshly popped and buttered popcorn, it makes a great snack.
Drink Rimmer. Mix a little brown sugar with Apple Pie Spice and rim your next Apple Pie on the Rocks cocktail. Works great on a spiced rum and hot apple cider too.
Spiced Apple Cider. Use your favourite apple juice, place in a saucepan and bring to a boil with a teaspoon of Apple Pie Spice, pour over your favourite spiced rum.
Aromatherapy. Before company comes over, boil some Apple Pie Spice on the stove with a little water and fill the whole room with fragrance!
Ingredients: brown sugar, cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground cardamom & ground cloves
Ingrédients: cassonade, canelle, gingembre, noix de muscade, cardamome & clou de girofle
These spices are amazing! I use them all the time, they are so versatile. Used as rubs and marinades to to enhance beef, pork, lamb, chicken and fish. Added to hotpots, stew, veg dishes, risotto, etc, they take food to the next level.

Amazing for so many dishes and so easy to add into recipes Maple Sugar – for anyone with a sweet tooth this will blow you away. It takes sugar and improves it, it is amazing for so many desserts!
Your Spices are fab (we all know) but I add them to food when I can’t be bothered to make an effort. I like that a chef has let us chef too. Even like the empty tins as I use the high quality tins to store food. Also like the look on my kitchen shelf – it makes me look like I cook tasty food .. and I can … if I cheat … which I do…
